Dr Mahnaz Alsharif is a highly experienced GP and Sport and Exercise Medicine physician at Sulis Hospital Bath where she does private GP, Sports and Musculoskeletal injuries and health screening clinics.
She is a member of the faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (MFSEM) UK and Ireland.

Mahnaz has over 20 years’ expertise of non-surgical acute and chronic sports and work-related musculoskeletal injury management and longevity-focused health optimisation.

Dr Mahnaz Alsharif qualified from the University of Bristol (MBChB) in 1996 before completing her GP training.  Her interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders and sport injuries led her to work extensively in A&E and further advancing into Sports and Exercise Medicine (MSc) at the University of Bath and diploma in MSK ultrasound (Bournemouth university).

Alongside Sports medicine and general practice, Mahnaz has a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Bath with post-doctoral research in molecular genetics.
Her dual expertise in medicine and biochemistry enables a uniquely future-facing approach to health, performance and preventative care.

She has particular interest in running and football related injuries. Her approach integrates precise diagnostic, evidence-based treatment, and personalised rehabilitation plans to support safe and effective return to full activity.

A key part of Dr Alsharif’s practice focuses on healthy ageing and longevity medicine - using the latest science to help patients extend not just lifespan, but health span, living longer and younger. Her postgraduate qualification in Ageing, health and disease (Cardiff university) deepens her expertise in the mechanism of ageing and preventive medicine. Her longevity programme includes nutrigenomic and epigenetic assessments with personalised strategies to slow, stabilise or potentially reverse the body’s epigenetic ageing markers and prevention of metabolic syndrome via epigenetic regulation.

Dr Alsharif offers holistic primary healthcare (comprehensive biomarkers), for early detection and long-term wellness as a GP as well as the following advanced regenerative and MSK treatments:
